VyVante Coffee Enema

A coffee enema is a form of alternative therapy, it involves administering coffee into the rectum, where it is absorbed by the colon. This practice is believed by some to stimulate the liver. If you’re considering doing a coffee enema, it’s important to follow safe and hygienic practices.
Here are general instructions for use:
Materials Needed:
  1. Vyvante coffee
  2. Enema kit or Non needle syringe and catheter pipe
  3. Filtered water
  4. Clean towel or Disposable mat (optional, for comfort)
  5. Lubricant (optional, to help ease the nozzle insertion)
  6. Coffee cafetiere/ percolator
  7. Thermometer

Instructions

1. **Prepare the Coffee**
  • Use up to  3 tablespoons of Vyvante coffee for the brew.
  • Boil the coffee with 500ml of filtered water for 5 minutes and then simmer it for 10 minutes. Allow the coffee to cool to a body temperature (37°C).
  • Strain the coffee to remove the grounds, leaving only the liquid.
2. **Prepare the Enema Kit:**or Needleless Syringe
  • Set up the enema bag/bucket/ syringe (ideally 250 ml and catheter. Attach the tubing and nozzle.
  • Make sure the equipment is clean to avoid any risk of infection.
  • Hang the enema bag or place the bucket on a higher surface (such as a towel rack or a door hook) to allow gravity to help the coffee flow. Ensure it is securely fixed and cannot fall and pour in the coffee gently.

If using a needleless syringe ensure the catheter pipe is securely attached and draw up the coffee – after insertion there may be a few ml of coffee remaining in the catheter pipe which is fine and enough for two coffee draws.

3. **Get in Position:**
  • Lie on your left side on a towel or a comfortable surface with your knees pulled up toward your chest (foetal position)
4. **Lubricate the Nozzle:**
  • If you wish, apply a small amount of lubricant to the nozzle to make the insertion more comfortable. Ensure there are no allergies to the lubricant.
5. **Insert the Nozzle:**
  • Gently insert the nozzle into your rectum, about 1 to 2 inches, with careful and slow movements to avoid injury, any pain or sign of blood or discomfort is a signal to stop immediately.
  • Make sure the tubing is secure and the nozzle is positioned correctly.
6. **Release the Coffee Solution:**
  • Open the clamp or valve on the tubing, or plunge the syringe very gently allowing the coffee to flow slowly into your rectum. The flow may take 5–15 minutes depending on the volume of coffee and the ease of flow.
  • Try to retain the liquid for 10–15 minutes only until comfort.
  • If you need to expel the coffee sooner, that’s not a problem, but aim for at least a few minutes if possible.
7. **Expel the Coffee:**
  • After holding the coffee for the desired time, move to the toilet to expel the coffee.
  • You may experience some mild urgency during the process, which is normal.
8. **Clean Up:**
  • Clean the enema kit / syringe thoroughly with soap and water, or according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Dispose of the catheter pipe.
  • Relax after the procedure.
### Important Considerations:
  • **Consult with a Healthcare Provider**: Before trying any type of enema, it’s advisable to consult with a doctor, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking medication.
  • If you experience any discomfort, pain, or signs of infection (such as fever or bleeding), seek medical attention immediately.
